Edge to Edge and Panto-graph designs
Edge to edge, panto-graphs and all over Freehand designs are priced according to the density of the quilted pattern. I have several pattern to chose from that will enhance your project or one can be ordered for you from a longarm digital pattern provider.
Simple Custom Quilting Designs
This type of quilting includes different designs within block, sashing or borders, ruler work,stitch in the ditch, free motion or echo quilting to complement the quilts structure. A quote will be provided after the consultation and prior to starting.
Preparing Your Quilt
Having your top prepared prior to dropping off can say you time and money.
- Smooth, flat, borders straight and square
- Press, carefully fold and hang on hanger
- Ensure seams are strong and free of holes
- Clip all loose thread on front and back
Pricing
I change $0.03 / Square inch for most edge to edge designs. Thread is included. Batting is an extra cost or can be supplied by the customer. There is a minimum charge of $60.00 for smaller quilts that do not meet the price per square inch charge.
Batting and Backing
Backing and batting must be at least 6-8 inches larger than the top. eg. If you top is 80"x90" both backing and batting must be 86"x96" (6" extra) or 88"x98" (8" extra). Backing must be prewashed 100% cotton. Most backing is a looser weave that 45" wide cotton.
